Hykeham Town TRFC 6-4 AFC Golden Eagle
Hykeham Town TRFC lifted the trophy to add to their silverware collection for the Season after they completed the League and Cup double today by defeating AFC Golden Eagle in an entertaining Cup Final at Sincil Bank. Steve Mehta and Andy Anderson each scored 2 goals apiece whilst Cal Chapman and James Dickinson each got on the score sheet for the Premier Division Champions.
Higginson scored a hat-trick for Eagle with Omelia also registering a quality finish but the free scoring of the Hykeham boys saw them through in a game that produced some high quality goals and some excellent quality football throughout.
