With the weather freezing out the League and Ron Eaglen Cup ties in the Lincoln area two of our sides traveled in the hopes of completing their County Sunday Cup Fourth Round ties.
Rustons United visited Friendship FC and returned home with an excellent 3-2 win to be the first side to make it through to the fifth round of the competition. Whilst there were snow flurries in Lincoln their was a flurry of goals in this game during extra time after the original 90 minutes saw the teams locked at one a piece.
Nettleham FC were not so fortunate with their tie as they traveled to Scunthorpe thinking that they were playing against Appleby Frodingham, only to find out that the game had been postponed yesterday due to the inclement weather.
The draw for the fifth round of the competition is due to be made live on BBC Radio Lincolnshire during the Sports programme which is due to be aired between 6pm and 7pm on Friday 15th December.
