North Lindum Hawks have applied to withdraw from the League due to a shortage of players. Their request has been accepted by a meeting of the League Management Emergency Committee.
Their place in Division 2 will be taken by Lincoln Athletic who will drop down from Division 1. This decision is consistent with their initial request to join Division 2 as a new team, but they were initially placed in Division 1 to maintain League balance in terms of team numbers.
Lincoln Athletic will take the LEAGUE fixtures initially allocated to North Lindum Hawks and the Division 1 fixtures vacated by Lincoln Athletic will now be blank dates for their opponents unless, or until, they are reallocated by the League. This decision was taken after considering that Lincoln Athletic have not been able to recruit the standard of players required to be realistically able to compete at Division 1 level.
Teams that were due to play North Lindum Hawks in Cup Competitions will progress to the next round by way of a bye.
