The League sends its congratulations to all at Rustons United after they reached the final of the Competition thanks to a penalty shoot out success in their Semi Final tie away at Old Clee Sewell FC.
The game finished all square at 1-1 after the regulation time, and Rustons’ held their nerve to triumph 3-1 on penalties. All the best for the final lads!
Swanpool FC missed out on the opportunity to make it an all Lincoln Final when they went down 0-1 away to Gainsborough side Friendship FC.
Despite the obvious disappointment that the Swanpool camp will feel, they too are congratulated by the League as to miss out by losing in the Semi Final is a superb achievement by all at the Club.
