The League is shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely and sudden death of Michael Hull, known as Mike Hull, who was an instrumental player and character of The Blue Lion Football Club who are a member Club in our League.
The following tribute has been received from the Secretary of The Blue Lion FC who has requested that it be posted on the League website:
“On Monday we found out we had lost our Vice Captain and treasured friend Michael Hull. Every member of The Blue Lion have been truly broken since losing him and we are all just thankful to have been able to share a part of our lives with such a wonderful young man, our hearts go out to his family at this incredibly difficult time”.
The League Secretary, on behalf of the League Management Committee, would like to express their sadness at hearing this news and offer their condolences to Mike’s family, friends, and all connected with The Blue Lion FC at this very sad time.
As a mark of respect all League and Cup matches will be preceded by a one minutes silence in memory of Mike on Sunday 4th February 2018 which is the date that the Blue Lion team have their next fixture.
