Today saw just one game played, that being the recently postponed Kelly Read Cup Round One game between Nettleham and AFC Saxilby.
The visitors were in no mood to let their handle on the trophy slip, albeit that they won the Competition on each of the last two Seasons under their previous Club name of Anglers FC. Six goals from a combination of Coy (2), Wilkinson, Toynbee, Bowden, and Coo did the trick against a Nettleham team who notched a consolation goal from Parker.
AFC Saxilby now visit HBW United in Round Two on 26th January 2020.
