Congratulations to Hykeham Town TRFC who were crowned Premier Division champions tonight following their 6-2 home win over New Swan. Despite the scoreline Hykeham did not have everything their own way as New Swan gave an excellent and spirited performance for much of the game. Swan were threatening to spoil the party when they were leading 2-1 after an hour but a strong finish from the home side saw them step up the pace in the last quarter to finish worthy winners on the night and champions of the League with a game to spare.
Railway Inn United also became champions of Division Four this evening following a 3-3 draw at HBW United. Sincere congratulations to all at the Railway at the end of a highly succesfull season following their relaegation last time around.
