Rustons United FC were today crowned champions of the Lincoln & District Sunday Football League in a winner takes all game against Hykeham Town TRFC.
In a highly entertaining game Rustons went a goal down early on only to draw level just before half time. Rustons scored two more goals in the second period to run out comfortable winners 3 – 1 in a game played in excellent spirit by both teams, well controlled by referee Dan Woolley, supported by assistants Callum Everatt & Karol Kaminski.
