With the current cold snap prevailing, all HOME teams for games scheduled tomorrow are requested to check the state of their pitches today by 4pm to determine if there is a chance of them being playable tomorrow. If the pitch is deemed playable this afternoon then a further pitch inspection should be carried out by 9am tomorrow in view of the adverse weather forecast published for the next 24 hours.
If the pitch fails the inspection today it is unlikely to improve overnight with the current weather forecast so the game would be postponed.
Any postponement MUST be notified by email or text to the League Secretary IMMEDIATLY and the postponement must be notified by the HOME Club to their opposition immediately.
Where a postponement occurs then the Match Official will be informed by the League.
The League requires the assistance and cooperation of all teams in this matter to ensure that wasted journeys and unnecessary expense does not occur during this current weather predicament.
