Having received the go ahead from the Football Association to start a phased return to grassroots football the League is able to announce a cautious return to action for our participants.
FA guidelines state that teams may return to training in groups not exceeding 30 persons including coaches with immediate effect.
Teams may commence pre-season matches from 1st August and the League may commence competitive matches, including League and Cup fixtures, from 1st September 2020.
The pro-active stance adopted by the League in its planning for the new Season, which has included input from our member Clubs, will hold the League in good stead and subject to no new issues arising from the current pandemic resulting in any alternative advice or contrary instruction being received from the Football Association, the League will return to League action on scheduled time with the first League games to be played commencing on Sunday 6th September 2020.
