Season 2017/2018 Divisional Format

The League Management Committee met on Sunday 11th June 2017 and agreed that the Divisional Format for Season 2017/2018 will be as follows:

Premier Division

Anglers FC, Lincoln Moorlands/Railway FC, Hykeham Memorial FC, Metheringham FC, New Swan FC, Newton United, Rustons United, Saxilby Athletic FC, Scothern United, Hykeham Town TRFC.

Division One

AFC Golden Eagle, AFC Lincoln Green, Bassingham Bugle Horn FC, FVA Jerusalem, Old Boys United, New Plough FC, Railway Inn AFC, Trent Valley FC, Welton FC, Welton Sports AFC, Wishing Well Cherry FC, Wragby FC.

Division Two

AFC Harpars, Cherry Willingham, Coningsby FC, Dunston FC, High Street FC, Heighington FC, Newton United Reserves, North Lindum Hawks, Plough Sturton , Shakespeare Athletic, St Helens FC, Waddington United.

Division Three

Birchwood United, Broadley FC, Hykeham Athletic FC, Lincoln RNA, Mareham United, Nettleham FC, Newtoft Terriers, Queen in the West FC, Queen Athletic, Railway Inn United, Ruston Sports, The Sports Bar FC.

Division Four

AFC West End, Branston Homeguard FC, FVA Jerusalem Reserves, Green Dragon FC, HBW United, Metheringham FC Reserves, Morning Star FC, Nosey FC, Saxilby Sports FC, Shakespeare Imps, The Blue Lion FC, The Shed.

Clubs are reminded that they must affiliate to the Lincolnshire County Football Association as soon as possible and in any event by the end of June. The Fixture Secretary will allow dates to be blocked off by Clubs who request dates on which not to play provided that such a request is received NO LATER THAN 6pm this Wednesday, 14th June 2017.

Work will then begin on the fixture preparation for next Season and avoid dates cannot thereafter be considered. As soon as ALL Clubs have completed their affiliation to Lincoln County Football Association the League will then release the Season’s fixture list, once it has been completed. The target date for the fixture release date is 30th June 2017.

  1. Indeed it is Tom, just a pity that quite a few teams were unable to continue. To have a League with 58 teams in is very healthy however and represents an increase from last Season.

  2. Hi Tom, All teams in Division 4 are completely new teams, none are renamed and none have been reformed from teams folding after last Season as far as the League is aware.
